inducing sensation or feelings with TMS, tDCS ?

Hey i am Adam an undergraduate computer science engineer who recently discovered this community i am very much interested in BCI and other related fields , my question is whether it is possible to induce sensation of touch or other similar feelings using TMS or TDCS (Trans direct cranial stimulation) devices or whether someone has tried such experiments ?

    Hi Adam,
    As far as I know there is some research in this way, mainly related to neuroprosthetics. This is known as artificial sensory feedback. This field is still quite limited due to our also limited knowledge about the brain and how sensory signals are computed. I've been taking a quick look in google and it seems that TMS and tDCS are not used in this field, probably because these technologies have low spatial resolution.
