Testing Wifi Shield to transfer data, without Ganglion or Cyton

Hi everyone. I would like to know if it's possible to test the wifi shield funcionality to transfer data to open BCI without the ganglion or cyton.

    The Wifi Shield must plug onto the top of a Ganglion or Cyton. There is no other way it can work. The two boards communicate and coordinate via SPI bus connections. (The mating connectors on top / bottom.)
