Using two different references simultaneously

Hi,
I am using the Cyton board (8 channels). I am currently only using the N1P and N2P to record EEG signals with ear clips connected to SRB and GND. I was wondering if it is possible to record from these two pins (N1P and N2P) while referenced to another pin (N3P) as well as the ear clip.
So I get 4 data streams simultaneously: N1P and N2P referenced to the ear and N1P and N2P referenced to N3P.
Is this possible?

    Yes, and you may as well reference each of N1P, N2P, and N3P to ear, since (N1P referenced to ear) - (N3P referenced to ear) = (N1P referenced to N3P).
