Disable WiFi to remove all EMI
Hi,
we need to ensure there are no EMI interference/emissions in the lab. Once we configure the Cyton to uSD is it possible to completely disable the wireless?
Thank you

Anybody...?
How are you turning the data acquisition on or off? In other words, how does your Cyton get the command to start recording data to the SD?
For this application I just need to use it asap without any customisation. In other words only through the user interface settings. And through the menu I can select "write to SD card" ONLY if I enable the serial or WiFi connection, both of which are clearly wireless. I want to:
1) at least record to the SD card and making sure there is no wireless transmission at all
2) ideally turn off the wireless module completely so even the very sporadic emission for pinging (classic of wireless modules) do not occur.
How can I do both 1 and 2? Any suggestions?
Thank you
There is no built in command to do this. You could mod the firmware.
You could also work out a solution using a simple shielded box. In this box you would place the Cyton and the dongle, the dongle on a usb extension cord. The simple cardboard box would be wrapped in a layer of aluminum foil. See photo and link:
