sample index range, doesn't match sample rate? [resolved]

Can someone explain why the sample index of the samples exported from OpenBCI_GUI does not match the sampling frequency? The preamble indicates a sampling rate of 250 Hz, but the samples are indexed from 0-255.

    There is no error. The sample rate is 250 as stated. The sample count, regardless of sample rate, always goes from 0-255.
