Need hybrid EEG and NIRS to measure P300 structure.

  I think NIRS is pretty neat, but I've never played with it myself.  The only NIRS system that I know of that is easily bought off-the-shelf is from Biopac:

  But, I don't know how much it costs and I don't know how suitable it is for P300 measurements.  Can you detect P300 via NIRS?  P300 seems like too fast a phenomenon to show up in changes in blood flow (which is what NIRS measures, I think).

  It
  details the development of a wireless NIRS and EEG system rather
  similar to openBCI. I have only scanned through thus far, but a 10%
  correlation was found in initial testing of the prototype.
  

  There
  are some other interesting points made, including the importance of
  motion tracking, reduction of artifacts, acquisition speed,
  concentration, etc. It does indeed note that the NIRS system is
  especially slow along side EEG.
