But I have read from your comments that it is really possible.

No, the software on the laptop is only designed to talk to ONE BLED112 dongle at a time. You might be looking at previous posts on that thread. They mentioned using two or more Cyton's on DIFFERENT laptops in the same room. Only one dongle per laptop. In addition, Cyton can change the radio channel used. Whereas Ganglion does not have this ability. Hence simultaneous Ganglion use in the same room could interfere with each other, even if used on separate laptops.
Note that the Ganglion BLE radio protocol does use the "channel hopping" feature of Bluetooth, so multiple simultaneous Ganglions in one room (on separate laptops) -- may work up to point. Not sure how many are possible. With Cyton there are 20 different radio channels possible.
The problem with connecting EITHER multiple Cytons OR Ganglions to the same computer, is that the OpenBCI GUI and Hub are not setup to operate with this configuration. They only talk to one board at a time.
You COULD possibly setup multiple of the Cyton Python programs to run in parallel, but that also would likely be messy. There is no Python Ganglion software yet (for the BLED112). There is Python Ganglion support for non-BLED112 on Linux, but it's not high quality and requires fine tuning the timing.
What is your goal for connecting multiple boards to one computer? Are you trying to achieve higher EEG channel count? This is not a way you can get that. Because the sample clocks on the different boards will not be in sync.
Is the customer who asked that question the same as Italo, or another? You cannot get 48 channels on one laptop by attaching three Cytons to one computer. For the reasons stated above.
If this is the same customer, I would like to delete the new thread that Shirley just posted. It's a duplicate question.
