Cannot program RFduino on the Cyton board!

I connect each pin between FTID and pin of RFduino on the Cyton board:
DTR->0.1uF->RF Reset
TX-> RF RX
RX->RF TX
GND-> GND
But, when programming, it showed up:
RadioDevice32bit.ino.hex
RFduino device required RFduino hex file!!!!

I don’t know what happen although hex file available as compiler show up!
Please help me to solve that!

    I tried program Dongle with channel 20:
    radio.begin(OPENBCI_MODE_HOST,20);
    And now, my dongle cannot communicate my Cyton board. I think radios channel on the RFduino is difference 20. Please give me channel default!
    Thanks

  • Dear
    Please update RFduinoGZLL with channel parameter!
    When I compile example RadioHost32bit, it shows up “class RFduinoGZZClass” has no member named “channel” as this line
    RFduinoGZLL.channel = radio.getChannelNumber();

    Thnak you

    Hi RadaMike
    I always meet this issue. I quit complete Arduino IDE and open again, It’s OK. Because we compile for other board previous and change to other board. It maybe issue compiler system when switch other board.

    Dennis, hi.

    I merged some of your threads into a single thread.

    re: your compiler error as mentioned on your post about ".../syscalls.c.o: No such file or directory", left on this thread:

    https://openbci.com/forum/index.php?p=/discussion/2249/rfduino-compiler-errors

    Did you see the solution on that thread? You need to use the exact version number IDE specified in the programming tutorial. The IDE for RFduino programming is NOT the same as that for PIC32 programming.

    re: matching channel numbers. The GUI has a feature where you can Autosync and get both RFduinos on the same channel. Try it. Click the arrow to expand the section.
