Dongle not recognised when plugged in

Hello, when I plug my Cyton dongle into my laptop, it does not show up on device manager. The blue light lights up though. How can I fix this?

    Have you tried plugging it into another computer, to see if the COM port shows up? It could be something amiss with the FTDI usb serial port driver.

    Yes, I've tried on 3 different laptops but it still is not detected.

    If the issue was correctable by reflashing the RFduino, the COM port would have to be visible. Since this is not the case, it appears that the FTDI usb serial chip has gone bad. 

    I suggest emailing contact at openbci.com and ask how you can get a replacement.
