Hello, I have a question about uploading code to the cyton board.

Do I have to put the board in bootloader mode to upload my new code?

What is the difference between my new code and the firmware on the board?

I was experimenting it in Arduino IDE and it says that "No target found. Programmer for Microchip PIC32 microcontrollers, Version 2.1.46 An error
occurred while uploading the sketch".

I already download all the libraries of OpenBCI and put the chipKit board in Arduino IDE.

Can you help me?

Yes, your board has to be in bootloader mode. Plug in the battery, press the PROG and RST buttons simultaneously, set the switch to PC, then release the RST button, followed by the PROG button.
