C++ as SDK

Hello everyone,

I want to use C++ to communicate with the GANGLION board to read data from those 4 channels. I have researched and came across with nothing. Can someone show the directions for that? I don't want to use Java, Python or Node JS SDK for this purpose. I have to do it in C++ only.

    Yes, you should be able to do this easily with LSL,


    Run the GUI as normal, then use the Networking Widget in the GUI to output the LSL stream.

    Hi William,

    As far as I can comprehend, I need GUI running whenever I need to communicate with the board using LSL, if that's the case, I wonder how can I achieve communication without using the GUI ? Thanks for your reply by the way.

    Burak, hi.

    Unfortunately there are no SDK C++ libraries available that directly interface with the Ganglion. The dev team is exploring that for the future, but no definite plans or timelines at this point. You can take a look at the base code that the GUI and Hub are using. It is written in Node / Javascript. This code can handle two communications options: (1) direct Bluetooth Low Energy via BLE libraries. This is currently deprecated because the old CSR dongle and 'Zadig' driver patching proved to be troublesome for certain Windows configurations. (2) connecting through a usb serial port to the BLED112 dongle, which is more robust and offers superior buffering.
