can GUI scroll back and forth through playback file?

Can I scroll in the EEG recording when playing back from file?

    Kris, hi.

    There is a utility program, EDFBrowser, that lets you do a whole range of operations on an EEG file. It can read, signal process and convert various input formats, including CSV.

    Well, there are a large variety of EEG signal processing programs. What is your objective? EEGLAB, OpenViBE, MNE, BioEra, etc. A newer one that requires an academic email address is NeuroPype.

    I recently recorded around an hour of EEG from one person in a Tibetan singing bowl session. I used the Greentek Gelfree S cap and recorded, FP1, FP2, T5 and T6. I was monitoring the recording (the screen) while recording with my eyes: high beta and gamma were higher than other bandwidths almost throughout. The user later said that she actually fell asleep around the middle of the session. I was surprised as I thought that there should have been an indication of this in the EEG e.g. higher alpha, theta, ... but no, the EEG was mainly active in beta and gamma.

    I recorded T5 and T6 as my understanding is that sound is processed there.

    So, the objective is to see how the sound of the bowls with ELF (extremely low frequencies) effected the brain.

    I'll check these apps, I work on OSX at the moment, so won't be able to test all I guess.

    Yes! This is possible with the OpenBCI GUI! This is the first version of the feature.
