Laser Cutting - QuadStar

Hi,

has anyone ever tried to laser cut on silicone rubber the QuadStar part of the Mark III headset? Today I was talking with a guy at a MakerSpace and he suggested me to try to laser cut it instead of using Flexible PLA. I'm not an expert into 3D printing and laser cutting, so I would like to ask your opinion.

He also told me that, in order to laser cut it, it is necessary to have the CAD files: are they available?
