OpenBCI cables shown on the Shop pages, generally terminate in female header connectors. These plug into the male headers on the boards. Your other option is to buy an adapter, which allow you to mate with ANY touchproof EEG / ECG / EMG cables.
Yet another option you have if you want to customize length, is to splice a female header onto any cable you might have. Such splice-able headers are available from anyone selling jumper cables. Just cut the ribbon you see in half.
