Issues with Cyton dongles
Hello!
I'm having some issues with two Cyton USB dongles (which I'm using with Cyton 8-channel boards connected to IDUN Dyrodes):
The first one was working fine for about 3 months, but recently it is exhibiting the following behaviour: it works fine for about 10-15 minutes (meaning it is detected properly by my Windows 10 computer and it can also connect to the Cyton board), after which the computer suddenly disconnects from the dongle and stops recognizing it.
I also just received a new Cyton 8-channel board last week. When I connect the dongle which it came with to my computer, the blue LED on the dongle does not light up and my computer cannot recognize it. Since this is a new dongle, I have also emailed [email protected] to see if I can get a replacement.
I have a third dongle which works properly with my computer and with my Cyton boards, so it seems like the issue is with the two dongles (as described above).
Are there any known troubleshooting steps I can take for the two dongles? I did search the forum but wasn't able to find cases which seemed exactly like mine.

Hazylium, hi.
Your best avenue is via email with OpenBCI tech support, to debug the malfunctioning dongles. Mentioning @Shirley. Be sure to try the dongles on more than one computer, to eliminate possible issues with the hardware, operating system, usb drivers, etc. All the computers should be checked to ensure that the official FTDI driver is seeing the dongle. This is visible with Windows Device Manager.

Note that to operate multiple Cyton's in the same area, at the same time, you need to ensure they are all operating on separate radio channels.
