Cyton long measurement with batteries
Hi,
I'm using Cyton board for a continuous measurement. I use 3 AAA batteries to power the device and I'm writing to the SD card and as well transmit to the computer. The new batteries only lasted 4 hours in this configuration. Am I doing anything wrong here? do you have any suggestion regarding the power supply that will allow me to do this kind of measurement for 24 hours and more?
Thanks,
Gilad

Gilad, hi.
There are many Lithium cells available that use the same plug and polarity, such as these from Adafruit,

Your 3 AAA cells have even much less milliamp hours (mAh) than the supplied 4 AA cell holder. The current drain from the 8 channel Cyton (without Daisy) is about 50 milliamps. Here is a related thread discussion. I think you can ignore most of the comments regarding Lithium cells in 'AA' format ('1.5v' nominal). Just use an appropriate sized plain Lithium cell from Adafruit. Much simpler.
