Neurosky Attention Algorithm

I know this question might sound wrong but has anyone really try to reverse engineer the Neurosky attention algorithm or try to implement something really close to their attention algorithm using their raw signals. I did my own research on this matter but always hit the wall.

If anyone has any idea or direction or wants to discuss on this, please comment here. I have tried to implement custom code to get the eeg band (alpha, beta, gamma, delta etc) from Neurosky EEG TGAM
raw data and try to verify them with bands provided by the Neurosky EEG TGAM hardware but I failed miserably.

Why I was doing that, I thought attention algorithm is somewhat fusion of those bands using some sort linear or non-linear combination. I have failed on all the front miserably and I am loosing my mind.

Please I request all of you to join this discussion if anyone of you have idea or suggestions.

I didn't want to move to mid-complex EEG device such as OPENBCI without understanding any basics.
