Higher sampling rates are available with Cyton, if and when the Wifi Shield is again available. It is currently undergoing some minor modifications to improve reliability with Cyton. But without the Shield, Cyton is limited to 250 Hz with 8 channels and 125 Hz with 16.
Some tricks can be played with recording at higher rates to the SDcard. But not with the default firmware. It requires a custom firmware.
