I'd like to access OpenBCI without using the virtual port. So, I was wondering if there is a way to make OpenBCI to work with BLE dongle other than the one shipped with OpenBCI and to access it like any other BLE device?
It's stated that the BLE feature is not yet coded in the firmware. I'm not sure how much effort this requires, Joel @biomurph might comment here. As I understand it, the current firmware is using the Bluetooth in the Nordic / Gazelle mode. Found this doc on the BLE mode,
