Brain waves and Music

Hey, everyone
I am leading research, part of my thesis for a Bachelor's conclusion, linking brain waves and music. As I have no sponsorship I decided to buy the OpenBCI EEG Headband Kit with the following items: Gold Cup Electrodes; Dry EEG Comb Electrodes (Pack of 30); Ten20 Conductive Paste 2oz jars pack of 3; Ganglion Board (4-channels); and Ganglion Dongle (Mac, Windows & Linux).
In my research, I intend to analyze patrons of gamma oscillation while my volunteers listen to music. I will also need to be able to compare beta and gamma oscillation frequency.
So, I would be very grateful if I can count on your help.
1. Do I need to purchase anything else?
2. Would an earphone headset corrupt the ear clip (from the OpenBCI EEG Headband) function in any way?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Victor, hi.
re: headband kit. This is a dry electrode system, so no paste or other electrodes (cups) are needed. The way this is setup with a circumferential headband, the sites you will be measuring are on this band. The band material itself is made from Velcro brand "One-Wrap" material, 3/4 inch. So it's possible you could rig up other bands or chin strap, if that suits your needs.

[you can also purchase in longer lengths]
re: cups and paste. You can optionally use cup electrodes, if that corresponds to the scalp sites you want to measure.
re: ear clips, no they should not interfere with most headphones, as generally the ear lobe is not covered.
