Feature Request: Impedance Check Map

We have recently started using OpenBCI's sinthered electrode cap. Things have been ok so far but one feature that I really think should be incorporated in an OpenBCI Hub update is a better view of impedance. I have used systems from companies such as Mitsar, Cognionics, FieldTrip and EGI and they all have a figure which easily demonstrates impedance before you start measuring as shown in the figure below. I am really not sure what motivated OpenBCI to make the user click on each electrode to check impedance but its quite the burden.

I hope this recommendation holds some value

The Hub does not have a user interface that displays data, just to turn it off and display version.

Do you mean you want this as a feature in the OpenBCI GUI?

Richard, yes, He's suggesting a SINGLE button that turns on/off impedance values for all channels. And then a head map showing results. HOWEVER, my hunch is that he would be happy to start with just the single button idea, since viewing the impedance values on the time series graph is not that difficult. The head map image link he gave is a typical impedance display on other amplifiers. But that assumes a certain type of electrodes and electrolyte if present. So that values in range / out of range can be flagged with color changes. In the case of Cyton and Ganglion, "out of range" depends a lot on the type of electrode being used. So is not so standardized.

    Sounds like a better solution!
