A Custom UI or skin for OpenBCI

Is it possible to changes some of the colors, the window background, and to add to the Open BCI interface? I would like to add a popup instructions and a scrolling list of scan icons, that can be click to pop open a small window to play back 10-20 clips of scan activity.  I's also like to the change the interactivity of the menu a bit.

Are these items available in the Processing code to change or in Java?
