Random accelerometer data, no EEG, after firmware upgrade from V1

Hi all,
I found out about the new GUI
(v4.1.2) version with integrated LSL stream and wanted to try it.
However, I was not able to connect (Error: "Failed to connect to data
source").

So I updated the firmware of the
Cyton board from v1.0 to v3.1.2
(OpenBCI_32bit_Library-3.1.2,OpenBCI_32bit_SD-2.0.0,OpenBCI_Wifi_Master-1.01.).

Now I am able to connect but I get really strange data: acceleration is jumping randomly and EEG shows flatlines (except for
chan1, another random signal). Touching the electrodes I get a
deflection in the signal but its going flat again afterwards.

Interestingly I can connect with another v1.0 board but only after I
have been connected with the v3.1.2 board, in this case the signals are
looking just fine.
