Libusb transfer stall with CSR dongle

I am using Windows 10 Open BCI UI GUI v4.1.2-beta .0 version, and a Bluetooth dongle CSR8510. The data transfer stops anytime randomly and gives the error: libusb transfer stall
I need the version because the GUI doesn't freeze on using LSL, while other older ones do. I used Zadig to install drivers for the dongle, but this error happens anytime.

    The CSR dongle has been deprecated, as a substantial number of users had issues with it. We now recommend the BLED112 dongle instead. It only costs about $10 from the OpenBCI shop, or it is in stock at various electronics vendors. For example in the UK:


    It will be more work, but you can try using an older version of the GUI and Hub that fully support the CSR dongle. BLED112 is highly recommended and inexpensive.

    Richard @retiutut should know what GUI/Hub support the CSR. Certainly if you go back 6 months to fall of 2018, that will work.

    We removed this feature from the GUI since it was unclear when/how CSR actually worked from user to user, and the install instructions were complicated. So to answer @zecahue's question: I'm unsure which GUI version is stable with CSR because I've only used BLED112 and Mac built-in to connect to Ganglion.

    I strongly recommend updating to BLED112 now that Impedance Check is working. This fix is in Hub 2.0.9, which will be folded into a 4.1.3-beta sometime soon after more GUI updates. :)

    @zecahue, if you are in Canada, Mouser might ship to you faster, with no customs tax.


    Just get the BLED112-V1, the V1C listed there is something odd. OpenBCI has been shipping the V1; Mouser shows 20000+ of those in stock.
