Node.js - @openbci/ganglion channelData array - total noob question

New to EEG and approaching from an experimental/artistic angle rather than one of scientific analysis. I have no neuroscience background whatsoever.

I've set up the Ganglion, along with @openbci/ganglion and @openbci/utilities Node.js packages. I'm streaming data just fine (or I assume that I am), but I have a question about actually interpreting the channelData property of the data object returned on each sample received. Here's a sample received from my Ganglion:

{ startByte: 160,
  sampleNumber: 1,
  channelData:
   [ 0.000017975828032323494,
     0.000010279114396513288,
     0.000025268632497741325,
     0.000027189071006968023 ],
  accelData: [],
  auxData: null,
  stopByte: 192,
  boardTime: 0,
  timestamp: 1550972227327,
  valid: true }

As I understand it, each item in the channelData array represents a voltage level -- but what does that mean, exactly? How do I interpret individual waveform data from that voltage reading? Or is that simply not how this works? What meaningful information can I intuit from the voltage reading as-is?
