Compatibility of older Daisy with Cyton having V3.x firmware

Is Daisy compatible with any version of firmware (1.X.X, 2.X.X or 3.X.X). To my understanding, as Daisy does not have any Micro-controller it is oblivious to any firmware cyton is running?

Specifically, I've a daisy module I got in start of 2015 (V4 - Daisy Module is mentioned on the daisy) alogn with a Cyton board with firmware 1.X.X. I purchased another Cyton recently with updated firmware (3.X.X) I suppose. I wanted to know if there would be any issues in using old Daisy with new Cyton board?

    There is no firmware on the Daisy, the only active component is the ADS1299. All other components are passives. So Daisy will work with all Cyton mainboard firmware levels.
