Raspbian is the OS for the Raspberry hardware. Whereas OpenViBE is a BCI / signal processing APPLICATION.
There are some previous posts on using Raspberry with OpenBCI boards, see the Advanced Search button in the right column. The Cyton dongle will plug in and work with Raspberry. The OpenBCI_GUI may work, but it is a fairly large app these days because of the associated 'Hub' process.
The smallest footprint and processor requirements would be to use OpenBCI_Python to read from Cyton, and either record, or generate an LSL stream.
OpenViBE also has an acquisition module for Cyton, that is another option.
What I got is that I have to select between (OpenBCI_GUI, OpenBCI_Python, OpenVIBE) to work with Raspbian? Sorry maybe it’s a silly question but it’s my first time working with BCI board.
In some way you are right. These softwares connects your computer /Rpi to OpenBCI device and they process arriving data. But it is also possible to programm your own software for this purpose.
