    Victhor, hi.

Have you tried (1) rebooting your laptop to refresh, reset the graphics system? These errors are from the OpenGL library, which does the screen writing.
    (2) Try running GUI on another laptop, or another version of Linux. (3) visit your laptop manufacturers website and be sure you have the latest graphics and OpenGL drivers.

    Regards,

    William

  • Thank you for your quick response wjcroft.

I have never before given importance to graphics card drivers using linux.

This PPA provides updated X (2D) and mesa (3D) free graphics drivers for radeon, intel and nvidia hardware.

    Supported architectures: amd64, arm64, i386

    Supported Ubuntu versions:

    - 16.04 (xenial) <- unmantained - migrate to bionic ASAP

    - 18.04 (bionic) <- supported

    - 18.10 (cosmic) <- supported

    - 19.04 (disco) <- supported

So I run the next commands:

    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:oibaf/graphics-drivers
    sudo apt update
    sudo apt upgrade

I hope this can be useful for others facing a similar problem.

So to confirm, your graphics is working fine now, with the new drivers?
  • Yes, the graphics are working fine now @wjcroft. Thank you.
