Construction of 32 channel system with 16 channel system

Hi, I have some questions

1. If I buy the 2 sets of 16 channel systems, and connect them in parallel to form 32 channels, is it possible?

2. How could you matching latency delay between 1-8 channel to 9-16 channel?

As you can see by the search results above, currently this is not easily available. However there are long range intentions to offer possible solutions in the form of new shields that support a total of 24 or 32 channels.
