using Ultracortex Mark IV for sleep study?

What kinds of pillow(s) and pillow shapes have others used when performing sleep studies? I'm concerned with protecting the headware, leads, quality of connections, and of course the Cyton+Daisy along with an external battery mounted at the base of the posterior of the helmet.

    My hunch is that sleep with the headset would introduce too many motion artifacts to be useful. It might be better if you rig up some elastic band or cap setup with just the minimal number of electrodes you need. Generally also, sleep labs don't use dry contact electrodes. But instead cup or disk electrodes with paste and collodion to keep the evaporation to a minimum. But with an elastic cap or band system, you may be able to get by with dry electrodes.

    Your mounting of the Cyton will also be a consideration. Might be possible to have it carefully fastened somehow at the very top of the head, not at the sides, front or back, which will more contact the pillow. You should not need the Daisy, 8 channels are plenty.
