Hi there,

I want to work with EEG for artistic and musical purpose, and, because it's the first time i work with EEG, i have for the moment a really tiny knowledge about all this

First, i have a limited budget, so i was thinking about get a ganglion board, and fews electrodes.

One of the projects is an art installation, and it is difficult to ask everybody to put some conductive gel/paste to everybody

As i want to use really basics informations (concentration or something like that), and as i am not really concerned by the precise exactitude of the result is that a problem to not use conductive gel/paste? It will work right?

How hard it is to have a concentration value with 4 electrodes? is the value usable for interacting purpose? reacting quick?

Is it easy to get some impulses?

EEG focus / concentration can be measured in various ways.

Generally more beta will be produced frontally.

For art installations (with many exhibit viewers wanting to "try it on"), I've also seen the Muse headset employed in a fair number of exhibits. Because it is more like putting on a pair of glasses (band that contacts forehead and behind ears.)
