I have mac os x and OpenBCI Device for EEG processing.

I would like to get data from OpenBCI realtime using Python. However, though I checked many things (OpenBCI website included). I couldn't find something particular works me.

Second Question, sometimes I got railed problem from OpenBCI GUI.

Third Question, I didn't understand clearly how to connect 2 references. From the box, there was only 1 cable so we connected 1 reference to the board.

My main purpose moving the cursor then I will go beyond. Open to any suggestion, sample project links on that.

If anyone know, please lead me in a simple and algorithmic way.

You did not say which board, Cyton or Ganglion. OpenBCI_Python can talk with both.

The tutorials show two earlobe connections, one is reference, the other ground (Bias).

when connect to device and try to see streaming data, there is encoding problem. How can I solve this problem?

Secondly, I really didn't figure it out with 1 Y cable how to connect 2 earlobe connections? Is it a problem if I connect only one of them?
