Total Power Needed For Multiple Devices
Hello! I've created a board that will house 8 ADS1299's chained together and am getting ready to send it off to get printed, but I am unsure of what the power needs will be. The data sheet says momentary current should not exceed 100mA, and the continuous current should not exceed 10mA. The "typical" values for digital current draw and analog current draw are 1mA and 7.14mA, respectively.
Currently I've got regulators that support 200mA for analog, and 250mA for digital. Should I be upgrading these to handle, maybe, 500mA for analog and 400mA for digital? Or possibly 800mA for analog? The ADS's are the only things that are drawing power from the circuit.
I'll be posting the schematics and board files online once they're complete.
Cheers!
Jack
