reading sub-vocalizations via EEG or EMG
Hi I am a software developer and have been following the development of open eeg hardware for a while. I have a few questions that I am hoping someone here might know more about and be able to give me some advice.
I am interested in the idea of reading sub vocalizations. So for example if I am reading some text and in my head if I read the text as if I am reading it out load but without actually speaking the words.
I am interested in knowing if there has been any work done on trying to read this information using an eeg device, or if anyone that knows more about this thinks it would be possible?

What I am interested in trying is reading signals from the brain and from skin above the nerves going to the vocal cords and feeding the information into a Neural Networks (similar to the ones used for voice recognition) and see if I could train it to read sub vocalizations and then attempt to convert it to text.
