I’d like to introduce MNE-RT (link), an open-source Python package for real-time M/EEG signal processing, built on top of MNE-Python and MNE-LSL. It covers the entire closed-loop pipeline in a single,

As i'm streaming the data via lsl in the gui ; should i rescale the data sent from the cyton or a dc filter is enough ? as it is raw adc numbers not microvolots ?

I've never heard of OYM, do you have a link or other info? Are you trying to send an LSL stream from OpenBCI_GUI to OYM?

Is anyone on this forum familiar with the OYM_BCI_Tools. I am hoping to use them to create an LSL connection

I have been working on a system for the collection of EEG data from participants during mental imagery tasks. I am using a Cyton+Daisy system for recording the EEG data. I have been using an LSL to re

Apologies, I forgot to mention the GUI Marker widget. I was unclear from your initial post if you were using the GUI. You mentioned both the LSL LabRecorder and Brainflow. The fewer software / hardwar

The Cyton dongle or mainboard cannot receive 'software triggers' as you describe. I'm glad you found a way to do it with LSL.

... Sorry for the naive question, but can I do it without LSL, i.e. can triggers from an external software be directly sent to the Cyton board (for instance via the USB dongle)?

In the IEEE paper, I believe they mention LSL timestamps. These are less accurate and more finicky than the simple Cyton External Trigger mechanism I mentioned. As long as your subjects are in the sam

Hmm, so another possible failure point is with the LSL LabStreamingLayer setup or the GUI's implementation of the out-streaming of LSL packets. Do you absolutely need the LSL? Can you try a Windows te

I see, thank you so much William! After some trial and error, I think Brainflow ended up working best! I may try using a usb-a connector for LSL in the future
