    If you want to take the easiest route, use the OTG cable and Cyton dongle with your Android (tablet recommended for larger battery).

    Classic SPP Serial Port Protocol. Which all Android devices also support.

    Most Android mobiles these days support usb host mode, also called OTG adapter. Plugging the Cyton dongle into the OTG adapter will appear as a serial port on the Android device.
