Connecting OBCI With OpenViBE

As many people in the OBCI community have mentioned, OpenViBE is a great software tool for acquiring and processing EEG signals, with the ability to further integrate those signals into BCI applications.

OpenViBE works best and is easiest to install in Windows, but it can also run natively on Linux.

Unfortunately, it does not support OS X yet. With this is mind (and the knowledge that many OBCI users run their lives from shiny macs like we do), we came up with a way to run OpenViBE from your mac, for free.

Non-Mac users might also find this guide helpful. Particularly the second part, which is devoted to explaining the steps necesarry to connect the OBCI V3 board to OpenViBE.

Enjoy!
