Sorry, my explanation is little wrong. I multiplied 1/1000 by the impedance. So the factor of BoardCytonConstants.series_resistor_ohms largely affected the value. So the value of the impedance is near 2.2~2.4.
-
I'm still struggling with the impedance issue. The impedance values are still not accurate and always come out around 2.4. In addition, the value changes very little when the EEG machine is put on and off. Has anyone had any success with impedance …

Now I'm trying this problem. I think we can get the impedance data after executing config_board('z 1 0 1 Z') or config_board('z 4 1 0 Z') on Python. And I used this calculation "data2=data*4.5/ float((math.pow(2, 23) - 1)) / (24) * 1000000", which c…

Thank you very much for your comment. I understood we should check the impedance on one electrode at a time, and the reason why. The information of LSL is surprising... I read the some release notes, but I didn't get it. What part of it was brok…

Sure. I heard we should send the email to [email protected] and tell them the details below. 1. Number of replacement UCM4 spikey units needed 2. Your shipping address

@wjcroft Thank you very much. I got a message from joeartuso. So I will ask him/her the detail! Steve

@wjcroft @retiutut Thank you very much for all your help. I directly contacted them(@Conor, @openbci, @joeartuso, @Shirley) about this problem. I will wait for their reply.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry, this is the picture of the electrode.

Thank you very much for continuous helps and immediate revision!! Now I don't have any problem.

I finally understood why. I misunderstood about the Filters button. I thought 1-ON button means Stream1 will be ON, but that's wrong. I checked other protocols (Serial, UDP, OSC), and I understood 1-ON, 1-OFF are about Filters. Thank you very muc…

@MrKlean518 @wjcroft Thank you very much for your comments. Recently, I tried the same Matlab program in another Mac. In that Mac, this problem didn't happen... I got the spectrum which seem Okey. It's similar the spectrum in OpenBCI_GUI... I …

@wjcroft Thank you for your comment. I applied 60Hz and 50Hz notch filter. But the data from MATLAB(orange line) and the data from OpenBCI_GUI(yellow line) are so different. Is there anyone who got the same issue...?
-
@wjcroft Thank you very much for your kind comment. Recently, I tried 50Hz notch filter to the data from MATLAB. But I think the data is not good enough. I attached the image. Blue line showed the data from MATLAB (no filter), Orange line showed t…

@wjcroft Thank you very much for your advice. Sorry for this late comment. I will apply notch filter at 50Hz to my data and comment again. But it's little wired for me because our area's power supply frequency is 60Hz. If you know some reasons, p…

Okey, thank you very much!!

Thank you very much for your comments. I understand that the data in the time series widget is filtered, but I don't get 25Hz noise if I turned off the notch filter and bandpass filter. Is there any other filter which I can not turn off ?
-
Finally, I borrowed a newer Mac which can use OpenBCI_GUI v4.1.7-beta.2. Then the problem didn't happen anymore. Thank you very much. Your comments were so helpful.

I'm so sorry for my late comment. I was hurry, so I decided to borrow another computer, MacBook Air. Therefore, I couldn't find the cause. But I would like to note something I noticed. I thought the cause may be the specification of that computer…

In any cases, I would like to attach my MATLAB code here. %% obci_onPro_spectrum_t01.m %% instantiate the library disp('Loading the library...'); lib = lsl_loadlib(); disp(lib); % resolve a stream... disp('Resolving an EEG stream...'); result =…

Thank you very much for your comments. Sorry for the late reply. I updated Java, but the OpenBCI_GUI v.4.1.6 couldn't work... The OpenGL version on this Mac is v.3.3. This is the problem, right? So I should use OpenBCI_GUI v.4.0.4. However, I co…

I'm using Cyton. I'm sorry, I maybe took a mistake. The LSL function can not be working on v.4.0.4. I think I didn't select Data Type or ON last time. So the problem still remains... @wjcroft said: Richard @retiutut, what could be going …

Thanks to your help, I found the way to use OpenBCI_GUI. I tried v.4.1.5, v.4.1.3, v.3.4.0, v.4.0.2, v.4.1.2, v.4.0.4, v.4.1.0 in the order. The versions which are later than 4.1.0 and 4.1.0 were not worked on the Mac. The versions which are older…

I downloaded the OpenBCI_GUI from the OpenBCI official website. So the version is v4.1.6. Thank you for your advice and the URL. I'd like to try some versions!!

Thank you very much for your comment!! Sorry about that. These are the console log and the error message screenshot. Console Log Started at Local Time: 2019-11-10_16-24-31 Screen Resolution: 1440 X 900 Welcome to the Processing-based OpenBCI…

@wjcroft Thank you very much for your kind advice. But I don't have an android smartphone and I could not find a radio spectrum analyzer in the App store. Do you know some radio spectrum analyzer in the App Store or other ways?
-
@wjcroft Thank you very much for your advice. Sorry for this late reply. I tried all the radio channels, but I couldn't solve the problem. But I found that a radio channel changes the frequency of how often the noise appears. And sometimes the fr…

@wjcroft Thank you very much for your comments. I'm using Cyton, not Wifi Shield. Generally with packet loss you want to improve the radio connection to avoid the packet loss. This can be done easier with the Cyton dongle by changing the …
