Hi Elliot, the Meta-analysis which i atached, showed that there is a significant improvement of ADHD core symptoms, nevetheless only when parents (not blinded) raters rated the symptoms. Further, they recomended standard protocols (Theta/Beta, SMR a…

@Wjcroft, cool that DC recording is possible with Cyton, since i have a ganglion i did not know that. @Martyhtheman, for the theta /beta protocol, you can use/adapt the focus widget of the Openbci software. I additionally like openvibe or bioera. …

Hi! The scientific consens (for the moment) is to follow two Neurofeedback protocols. These two, are the only ones which showed proven efficacy in randomized controlled trials. Theta/Beta protocol or Slow-cortical potentials. With the Openbci yo…

Hi! I tried to use Psytoolbox and Matlab, but it was quite straightforward, so i decided to use LSL and Openvibe or Bioera. It was the less time and code consuming approach. What is exactly your idea? I tried with https://github.com/arnodelorme/n…

I think you need to apply a notch (50 or 60Hz) and bandpass (1-40Hz) filter to have a "normal" eeg signal.
-
Hi, This is a bit tricky. Now i don't remember exactly, but you're able to import more than 4 channels. Just import to Open vibe e.g 10 channels and then you can see the complete data flow. Some channels will be without any data, but you should be …

Hi Hackr, see this link. There you will find the coefficients. https://www.bci2000.org/mediawiki/index.php/User_Tutorial:Configuring_Online_Feedback La placian filter is a filter where you give some wight to the channels. It is usually used for Mo…

Hey!. Is it because theta waves generally cover the entire cerebral region? - Yes. EEG in general do not have a good spatial resolution, but a good temporal one. So, to detect Theta waves in sleep, it should be enought to record at central …

Hi @Gilesforrerst, I had some similar issue, but now it works perfectly, however sometimes i need to restart the OpenBci_gui and then it works. The node code that you show is this one: node advertisement-discovery.js (Am i right?) aft…

Hi @Pushtheworld, actually i downloaded the latest GUI, and the LSL Networking widget freezed the complete GUI, like the last version. cc @Gabelbagon

Hi @Gabelbagon, sorry but i'm not able to fix it. I do not know what you mean with the Processing "Libraries" since i actually don't have intalled this program. Thanks for all your answers! Kind regards Pascal.

Hi @Gabelbagon and @pushtheworld, i tried again with positiv results (for UDP, OSC and serial port but not for LSL) Streaming with UDP and OSC was succesfull. To test it i used the Networking test kit (Thnaks :P). For serial port streaming i…

Hi @Wjcroft, so far i'm not able to connect ganglion with LSL (on Windows 10), i tried all what i found on the i-net. It could be that i'm just doing wrong. But i'm not sure if it is jet possible to use LSL with ganglion. It would be really great…

Hi again! is there already any update regarding ganglion and LSL? Best, Pascal
-
@Likeleto, when you play the playbacks, did you set the filters? It seems that the notch filter (50/60Hz is off).
-
50Hz noise is normal. You have to filter it out. 50Hz in Europe and 60Hz in USA is mainly the electric current of the environment (e.g Lights).
-
Do what is shown in this video! I did so and after all steps, ganglion was found in the GUI. ElisabethSmithie

@Wjcroft I will try it this weekend! Thanks for the info. Did i understood correctly that i need an additional widget from @GabeIbagon ? cc @Gubbeen I will post my progress too! Best, Pascal.
