Cyton doesn’t seem to fit in the Mark IV case?

The board frame and cover seem to fit each other fine but the cyton itself won’t fit in because the pins are wider than the hole for them. What did I do wrong here?

Also are the 4 plastic “feet” supposed to be attached? Where do the batteries go on the Ultracortex?

    Hackr, hi.

The feet are not needed when the case is used; if they are present, remove them. The small LiPo cell will fit underneath the Cyton board. Are you using small screws to fasten the Cyton to the bottom case holes?

Thanks William! That makes sense - I will get a LiPo cell. I have not fastened the board yet but that sounds like a good plan.

Okay I think I’m starting to get it now. Originally I thought the board was meant to go inside on the smaller of the two pieces. I guess it only sits inside of the larger one then the extra space is where a small battery goes.

I’m not sure where the screws would go offhand unless I drill holes into the 4 little pegs on the smaller part of the case. Maybe I’ll find some illustrative photos with some more searching.

    Thanks!

Perhaps your print of the bottom half did not image the holes correctly, and they just look like 4 platforms instead. As you can see they line up exactly with the holes in the Cyton.

Not sure you really need to use screws. They would only be helpful if you do not snap on the top. Without the case top, screws would hold Cyton into the bottom half. If you snap on the case top, that should hold in the board without screws.
