Custom EMG Armband

I would like to build a custom armband for measuring EMG activity from my forearm. I am looking into having at least 8 electrodes arranged around the forehand with a minimum sampling frequency of 1000Hz. Is it even possible to do with OpenBCI hardware and if so what are my options? What would be the fastest solution to build?

Hello Better,
Cyton default sample rate is 250 Hz. Are you sure you need 1000 Hz? 250 Hz would likely be fine if you are just looking at envelope amplitude. Generally 500 Hz is the max ever required for EMG, when looking at individual firing pulses.
Cyton with the Wifi Shield can do faster sample rates. But also is tricky to setup, configure. Some users have it working ok, others have expressed some difficulty.
