Ganglion impedance not going green

edited February 2017 in Ganglion
I'm following the Ganglion tutorial and everything works fine until I get to the impedance test. I put the two electrodes of pin 3 on both arms and not lower than 400 KOhm. I've even join the termination of the electrodes on pin 3 (+ and -) and it reaches 186 (still in red), but it never goes green as in your picture at 7.5 KOhm. what am I doing wrong?

Thank you

What electrodes / paste are you using?

What impedances do you see with scalp points, are those in the green?
  • i use gold cup electrodes from openbci. when i put in my arms as turorial says  and run test impedance alwais is red and up to 400 kohm. If I remove them from the arms and join together with each other say 186 also red. what is scalp points?

Are you doing all the steps of the tutorial, including the EEG on the scalp?

    What paste are you using?
  • Hi,

I change the paste and works fine.

It's my fault. I did not know that the type of paste was so important

    Thanks

@kuisi what paste did you use first and what now? Just for reference.. thanks!

The impedance test is measuring between the '+' inputs only and the 'D_G'. If you put the + and - together, it will not make a difference.
