EEG/EMG/EOG data with eye blinks
Hello Everyone,
I am currently undertaking a project to implement a brain to computer interface for robotics for my electronics course (well at the moment this isn't technically a BCI since I am currently planning to use eye blinks as a control which is an EMG signal I understand). I am quite new to Digital Signal Processing so I wanted to attempt something that doesn't require DSP that isn't too complicated due to time constraints. I am ordering an UltraCortex Mark IV Nova for this project which i am very excited about but I want to have a play with some data before I receive the headset as I might be waiting a little while (not sure what the delivery times are for these things to the UK since they only started shipping this month - anyone know?).
Anyways my main question is: does anyone have any links to downloads of EEG data with and without eye blinks? Also does anyone have links to downloads of EEG data with 50Hz noise?
Also, I know that Blind Source Separation through Independant Component Analysis is a common way of separating EEG from EMG and EOG. Has anyone ever carried out an EEG project without using BSS? Are there any other techniques that can be used for people that aren't DSP veterans?
Your responses will be greatly appreciated.
