hey i have some questions. I have a cyton, if i turn off a channel on openBCI gui, should i turn srb2 also off for that channel, im using bottom pins 6 electrodes from 8 bias and srb2. Or after turning off a channel will turn off srb2 also? I have some noise issue, i cannot understand why, I use EEG paste, make sure that electrodes are very stickes to my scalp, but sometimes i have over 100 uvrms. First tought that maybe I should use above puns not the below ones, but the tutorials say otherway. Do you guys have any tips?

    Hi Alex,

You don't need to use Hardware Settings to turn off SRB2 when disabling a channel. Just click the colored channel number on the Time Series graph and that turns off all functions of that channel.

EEG signal is millionths of a volt, so very sensitive to external EMF electromagnetic fields in your environment. Make sure your space is some feet away from any power cords, power supplies, power adapters, conduits in walls ceilings, electric lights, wireless gear etc. You may also experiment with moving to another room or part of your room.
