Using Galea on Macbook M3

edited May 2024 in Cyton

Hi Folks,

Hope all is well. I am planning to buy Galea and do software development for my research. I wonder if I can use all the features of Galea on my Macbook Pro M3.
Since using Parallels to VM would decrease the performance, I am looking to avoid using Windows on them and directly use the Cyton+daisy board and Galea directly with my Mac.

Yes, both Cyton and Galea, and the GUI work fine with native Mac.

Cyton requires the dongle, but Galea uses Wifi, thus no dongle.

Thank you so much for the reply. So, how can I get the dongle that supports USB C? I already have the CYTON DONGLE, and it can only connect to USB, but my laptop only supports USB C. Do you mean the USB to USB C adapter?
Also, if I use the adapter, would it cause any problems like decreasing the sampling rate?

    Thanks

No effect on sampling rate or other features, totally compatible.
