Hello everyone, now i'm working to optimize my daily routines for my personal sleep psg lab with OpenBCI Cyton.
Recently i bought Lithium Ion Polymer Battery - 3.7V 10050mAh (10 Ah) and USB LiIon/LiPoly charger - v1.2 to charge it.
Charger have 2 JST connectors - for battery and load. Now i charge it by taking out battery JST connector from Cyton and plugging it into charger, charge and then put it back to Cyton.
It seems that i can plug battery into charger JST battery slot and connect Cyton to charger JST load slot, so the battery will power Cyton through load.
My question - is it ok to keep load connected to Cyton when i start charging battery? Or i still need to take it off from load slot to avoid any potential damage?

The videos and text on the Adafruit site state that your load (the Cyton) can remain connected while you are charging. No need to disconnect. Note that actually running a session while charging may induce extra noise into the Cyton data stream, depending on how well regulated the DC power supply is. Some USB power supplies use boost converters, switching power supplies or other elements, which are not as clean as pure DC battery power. Battery power has zero noise.

Thanks William, that a great news that i can stop switching JST's every time and just use mini usb to charge!
