Cyton Daisy SD card file is empty
Hi,
We are having some issues with SD card files being empty after the data collection. This had happened to us before when we didn't use USB extension cable for dongle. However, after using USB extension cable this problem didn't occur. But just recently we had this problem and I wanted to share it with you to find a potential solution that can fix it permanently.
We turn off the board when data collection is over and then we take the sd card out from the board. just wondering if we are removing sd card properly? or do we have any a proper SD card removal method?

Hi Shyamal,
Yes, turning off and removing is the correct procedure. Is this a recent purchase? Have you tried workarounds such as different types of sd cards, to eliminate the possibility of a bad card? Have you emailed to customer support? (contact at openbci.com)

Hi William,
I think we bought it a year ago. We are using the recommended SD card on https://docs.openbci.com/Cyton/CytonSDCard/. We haven't tried changing the SD card because it just happened once after using USB extension cable. No, we haven't emailed to customer support.
If you recommend that changing the SD card could possibly eliminate this problem then we can give it a try because we don't want to loss any data after the participant is done with the experiment. Also, if you have other recommendations then please share it so that we can test it and see if any of them works.

Note that some online retailers are selling counterfeit cards, stamped with the name of an authentic manufacture (such as SanDisk), but in fact are cheap and unreliable clones.
