You should TURN OFF unused channels by clicking their channel numbers in the Time Series panel.
If you are still seeing similar noisy channels in multiple areas, then suspect you have a bad reference cable, connectors, electrode, etc. Because reference is shared in common with all channels.
The fact that you see the alpha increase with eyes closed, means that your system is working.
Hello wjcroft.....Greetings I did closed all unused channels in time series panel. But what i am asking about that my CZ,FZ,PZ electrodes are not connected with any CYTON or Daisy board as i connected the electrodes according to the guide provided on OPENBCI connection guide page....Am i missing something or these electrodes really not connected with board...
Any help will be appreciated.......

It is totally up to you, which 10-20 electrode sites you use. You only need to use the channels you desire, plus the reference and Bias electrodes.
