in Ultracortex design, are the blue electrode mounts printed?

edited December 2022 in Headware

From my understanding, the blue electrode mounts are not parts that are 3D-printed. Is that correct? In that case how can they be purchased? I know I can get them from the OpenBCI shop, but I'm thinking more into the future, like in case the OpenBCI shop ceased to exists or for people in regions where its particularly difficult to obtain deliveries from the US.

Those parts (electrode holders) are in the Shop because they are INJECTION MOLDED, not printed. This is so they can have fine tolerances for the threads and fitting. It's very unlikely that OpenBCI will cease to exist for the foreseeable future.

  • I see. Are the specifications for the injection molds available?
