BCI and locked-in syndrome

The present message is to kindly ask if current mind-reading technologies are applicable to help people suffering from locked-in syndrome communicate despite their inability to move anything but their eyes.
We are working on an international research project on the topic (https://www.antropologia.urv.cat/en/research/projects/locked-in-syndrome/) and would really appreciate feedback on which devices could be used to help people with the condition share their thoughts and reconnect with the world and their beloved ones.
Many thanks, and my very best wishes of health and success for 2022.
Best regards,

Enric, hi.
Of all the types of BCI systems available, cVEP (code based visual evoked potentials), has been shown to be the easiest for client to use, and fastest output.
